Ex-DraftKings VP joins SimWin Sports as EVP of marketing and RMG strategy
Industry stalwart Jamie Shea takes full-time role with digital first sports league after departing Strive Gaming in May

Former DraftKings VP Jamie Shea has been named SimWin Sports’ new EVP of marketing and real-money gaming strategy.
SimWin Sports is a digital-first sports league that offers daily and season-long tournaments, where sports bettors and esports fans can bet on fantasy sports powered by AI.
Shea has over 25 years of experience in both the land-based and digital sector, dating back to 1996 where she was a race and sportsbook supervisor for Flamingo Las Vegas.
Shea held similar roles at several casinos all the way through to 2012.
Joining Caesars that year as a regional sales director, she spent two years with the firm before moving to Carnival Corporation to become director of national casino marketing.
A move to IGT followed for Shea in 2016, where she held the role of sports betting and PlaySpot specialist before heading to DraftKings in 2018.
Her first role with the operator was as VP for sportsbook operations, where she helped launch its first digital sportsbook in the US and worked with current SimWin Sports chief marketing officer (CMO) Tom Goedde.
After three years in the position, Shea became VP of national VIP marketing.
A full-time role with Strive Gaming as the firm’s CMO followed in September 2022, before switching to an ambassadorial role upon leaving the business in May.
Shea has been involved with SimWin since October 2022, having served as the firm’s non-exectuive director and ambassador during that time.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, SimWin Sports said: “Welcome Jamie Shea as SimWin’s new EVP of marketing and real-money gaming strategy.
“Jamie is a hall-of-fame level talent, bringing over 30 years of experience from sportsbook and casino industry giants like Caesars, IGT, Hard Rock, and DraftKings, where she and SimWin president and CMO Tom Goedde led the launch teams of the first digital sportsbooks in the US.
“Jamie is expanding her previous SimWin role of special adviser as we prepare for public launch and scale. Welcome to the squad Jamie.”
On her arrival to the company, Shea added that she enjoyed her time as an adviser and looked forward to making it a full-time role.
