Evolution opens live casino studio in Connecticut
Live casino giant plans to employee 400 staff at new space as it continues US expansion plans

Evolution has opened a new live casino studio in Connecticut with plans to eventually employ 400 people in the Constitution State.
The newly built studio is based in the town of Fairfield, 56 miles northeast of New York City, and has already hired 140 employees.
The eventual 400-strong workforce will be spread across technical, production, administrative and information technology positions, as well as security.
The studio will be used to offer live dealer content to FanDuel and DraftKings in the state.
Under Connecticut law, Evolution is required to operate an in-state facility to provide live casino content to operators in Connecticut.
The Evolution studio is currently in a soft launch period, with only blackjack and roulette tables available to a limited number of participants.
The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection will monitor the soft launch to ensure Evolution’s games meet state regulations.
The studio will transition into a full launch on 18 July, depending on this monitoring period.
Governor Ned Lamont said: “With the addition of Evolution, we are continuing to provide a modern, technologically advanced gaming experience that provides an elevated user experience for eligible residents and is competitive with our neighbouring states.”
Michelle Seagull, Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection commissioner, said: “We are proud of the hard work our gaming division has done to ensure Evolution’s facilities and offerings meet the high standards set by our regulations to create a safe and successful opportunity for live dealer games in Connecticut’s online gaming marketplace.”
Last month, Evolution opened a live casino studio in Armenia.
