Evolution launches live studio in Michigan
Live casino heavyweight hails “major landmark” in US trajectory as third dedicated studio debuts with nine operator partners

Evolution has launched a new purpose-built live casino studio in Michigan, the firm’s third dedicated studio property in the US.
The new studio joins sister buildings in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is the 11th live casino studio operated by the supplier worldwide.
It aims to provide a “state-of-the-art” B2B live casino offering for desktop, tablet and smartphone players in the US market.
Evolution-powered live table games including Infinite Blackjack, standard Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette and Auto Roulette are now being livestreamed to operator partner players in Michigan, with further titles set to be added.
Nine of Evolution’s B2B partners went live with games produced from the new Michigan studio immediately after its launch, including Barstool Sports, BetMGM, BetRivers, DraftKings, FanDuel, Golden Nugget, PokerStars, TwinSpires, and William Hill.
Evolution North America commercial director Jeff Millar cited the Michigan launch as a “major landmark” in Evolution’s US growth journey.
“We are fully committed to the new Michigan market,” said Millar. “We launched games from our NetEnt brand with all operators in Michigan at the market opening in January, and we have now become the first provider to launch live casino in Michigan.
“Our new Michigan studio is one of the biggest and best equipped in the US igaming market, with room to expand in line with our licensees’ needs,” Millar added.
Evolution reported a year on year revenue rise of 100% to €256.7m for Q2 2021.
