DraftKings wins RFP to run betting in New Hampshire
Operator offers up 51% of mobile GGR to NH Lottery if given exclusive rights for betting in the state

DraftKings has won the RFP to run mobile and retail betting for the US state of New Hampshire, it was revealed yesterday.
According to documents published by the New Hampshire Lottery, which oversees betting in the state, DraftKings beat out 10 rivals in the mobile channel category and five in the retail channel category.
The Boston-headquartered firm offered up 51% of mobile GGR to the Lottery if it were the sole provider, significantly ahead of rival firms.
Roar Digital, which finished third, offer up 20% of mobile GGR.
Other bidders included FanDuel, William Hill and Gibraltar-based firm Addison Global.
Betting will be available at up to 10 physical locations in the state, while mobile betting will be available to all adults in the state.
“DraftKings is proud to be selected to offer mobile and retail sports betting in New Hampshire,” DraftKings said in a statement.
“We look forward to soon providing sports fans in the Granite State with our best-in-class mobile and online Sportsbook product, and welcoming them into our dynamic retail sportsbooks.
“DraftKings will continue to collaborate closely with the New Hampshire Lottery Commission towards our mutual goal of bringing fun, safe and responsible sports betting to New Hampshire.”
Contracts are expected to be finalised by the end of November, with the state hoping to launch betting early next year.
The RFP originally said New Hampshire may select up to five mobile providers, with yesterday’s update not specifying how many would ultimately be chosen.
The DraftKings’ proposed revenue share fell from 51% as the only supplier to 21% if there were two-three providers and 15% with four-five.
“Sports betting represents a major next step in the New Hampshire Lottery’s evolution, and given its significance, we are pleased with the overall quality of the proposals we received,” said Maura McCann, marketing director of New Hampshire Lottery.
“We look forward to continuing the RFP process and to ultimately implementing a sports betting system that supports continued revenue growth, while also incorporating all necessary safeguards and protections for our players and retailers
New Hampshire has around 1.3 million people, with the state forecasting roughly $7.5m in gambling revenue by 2021.
In the same RFP, Intralot won the right to provide lottery products to NH.
