
DraftKings signs media partnership with Vox Media
Deal will establish DraftKings Nation network and cover a number of sports with an initial focus on NFL


DraftKings has established a media partnership with independent outlet Vox Media’s SB Nation network to provide unique content on US sports via a new online network.
DraftKings Nation will initially focus on the 2019 NFL season but will eventually expand to include the NBA, NCAA and MLB.
It will combine DraftKings’ insights into player behaviours with Vox’s content and analysis capabilities, and be based on the media outlet’s Chorus publishing platform.

DraftKings chief business officer Ezra Kucharz said: “DraftKings’ partnership with SB Nation provides a new, best-in-class content destination for passionate, skin-in-the-game sports fans,
“In addition to consumers being able to access expert analysis, this partnership gives advertisers, brands and marketers a new platform to reach highly engaged and coveted sports fans,” Kucharz added.
Jim Bankoff, chairman and CEO, Vox Media said: “In partnership with DraftKings, we have combined our editorial vision and expertise, paired with our technology capabilities to serve passionate sports fans in this fast-growing area.”
DraftKings Nation will be one of 300 Vox communities covering a huge range of sports.
SB Nation currently has a reach of 75 million sports fans.
