The operator has yet to reveal its sportsbook technology partner, its licensing partner in New Jersey, or whether it has even received a licence.
However the firm said it expects to go live as soon as the state’s sportsbook regulations are in place, having hired a head of sportsbook and new staff to focus on the vertical earlier this year.
DFS rival FanDuel has also expressed an interest in getting into sports betting, although could be the subject of a bidding war from European sportsbook operators, including Paddy Power Betfair.
