DraftKings given greenlight for New Hampshire betting contract
Operator will produce the state’s only betting offering with 50% of revenues going to state education

DraftKings has been given the greenlight by the New Hampshire Executive Council to produce retail and mobile betting for the state.
The operator won the RFP for the state’s only betting offering last month, beating out 10 rivals including Roar Digital, FanDuel, William Hill and Gibraltar-based Addison Global.
As part of the contract, the New Hampshire Lottery will receive 50% of gaming revenues to fund education in the state.
The mobile app is expected to go live in January, with the operator planning to establish a local hub to work closely with the state lottery.
Co-founder and chief revenue officer for DraftKings Matt Kalish said: “Our best-in-class mobile sportsbook and several retail locations throughout the state are sure to be a hit with all types of customers as legalized sports betting continues to expand across the country.”
Charlie McIntyre, executive director, New Hampshire Lottery said: “The introduction of sports betting will broaden the appeal of the New Hampshire Lottery and engage new and existing customers, while generating millions of dollars in additional revenue to support education.
“We are working directly with DraftKings to implement a sports betting system that both engages players, while also ensuring all appropriate safeguards are in place,” McIntyre said.
The state’s betting legislation allows for up to 10 physical sportsbooks and state-wide mobile betting.
Intralot will operate the state’s lottery channel.
