DraftKings follows pick’em debut with progressive parlay launch
Boston-headquartered operator unveils feature in six US states as it looks to product innovation for growth

DraftKings has unveiled its new progressive pick’em parlay feature within its sportsbook app to bettors in six US states.
These states comprise Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Oregon, Tennessee, and Wyoming, with additional state rollouts expected.
DraftKings has confirmed bettors will need to download the latest version of the DraftKings app to access the progressive parlay feature, in which bettors pick ‘over’ or ‘under’ on anywhere from three to 12 bets.
As selections are made, the ‘bet builder’ informs the player of how many additional picks are required to create the progressive parlay, how the odds change with each pick, and how many legs of the parlay must hit for the bet to pay out.
The more picks made by the bettor, the more ways there are to win and, consequentially, the bigger the potential payout.
“DraftKings is committed to constantly creating new ways for our customers to engage with the sports and athletes they love, and progressive parlay is a great example of that,” DraftKings CPO Corey Gottlieb said in a press release confirming the launch.
“This product provides the excitement of building a parlay, but with the added opportunity of potentially winning even if every leg doesn’t hit. It’s the best of both worlds,” he added.
The launch of progressive parlays is DraftKings’ second major product rollout in the space of a month, following the launch of its Pick6 game earlier in December across six US states, with the game geared around a “more or less” mechanic based on individual player statistics.
