
DraftKings bolsters baseball output with Jared Carrabis media partnership
US sports betting and DFS operator partners with commentator and personality on new content-led deal

DraftKings has signed a media and content partnership with baseball personality and podcast creator Jared Carrabis.
Under the terms of the agreement, Carrabis will create weekly baseball-focused podcasts as well as a wide array of engaging content based on podcast topics for all baseball fans to enjoy.
Beginning April 7, Carrabis will broadcast baseball content from the DraftKings YouTube channel including latest news, special guest interviews, with the channel playing host to two new podcasts: ‘Baseball is Dead’ and ‘Jared Carrabis’.
The ‘Baseball is Dead’ national podcast hosted by Carrabis, with appearances by former MLB pitcher and Oakland Athletics analyst Dallas Braden, will feature insights from all levels of the MLB.
The ‘Jared Carrabis’ podcast will center on Carrabis’ passion for the game and the Boston Red Sox and feature behind the scenes access and regular contributions from guests Pete Blackburn and Pat Light.
Later on in April, DraftKings will debut a live vlog on Tuesday evenings where baseball fans can interact with Carrabis via social media as he watches MLB games.
Carrabis will also leverage his WWE knowledge for DraftKings in a yet-to-be launched wrestling-centric podcast.
“We’re thrilled to add Jared Carrabis to our growing portfolio of content creators,” DraftKings VP of programming Stacie McCollum said.
“He brings credibility as a subject matter expert while striking an authentic tone that resonates with sports fans.
“We continue to expand the DraftKings content experience by building a platform for independent voices and emerging talent such as Carrabis,” McCollum added.
DraftKings’ newest content creator waxed lyrical about his new partners, citing their pedigree in Boston.
“I am thrilled to bring my deep passion for baseball and sports betting to DraftKings,” said Carrabis.
“Not only do we share roots in Boston but we also share the same vision to deliver exciting content to sports fans everywhere. I can’t wait for fans to see what we have planned for this year’s MLB season,” he added.
