Boston-headquartered operator to become presenting sponsor across all podcast and video content by American sports media personality Colin Cowherd’s company

DraftKings has confirmed the signing of a multi-year agreement to become the main presenting sponsor of content produced by The Herd host Colin Cowherd’s The Volume media company.
Under the terms of the deal, DraftKings messaging will feature across all current podcast and video content produced by the sports media firm.
DraftKings and The Volume will collaborate to create custom content and DraftKings will be featured via ad reads and logo placement across all channels from today, September 7.
“Colin Cowherd has long been an influential voice in sports media,” DraftKings chief marketing officer Stephanie Sherman said.
“As we continue to grow our content portfolio, we look forward to establishing a strong collaboration with the talented roster at The Volume,” she added.
Since launching in February 2021, The Volume has amassed more than 600 million audio downloads and more than 550 million video views on social media.
Across six YouTube channels, The Volume has more than 2.5 million subscribers.
Former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe recently joined The Volume network with his podcast Club Shay Shay, which has 1.2 million subscribers and has garnered 243.2m views on YouTube.
The addition of Sharpe expands The Volume’s stable of content to more than 20 shows, including The Colin Cowherd Podcast, The Draymond Green Show, and The Richard Sherman Podcast.
“During our first two years, we’ve seen The Volume grow from a podcast start-up to a media network featuring some of the most interesting voices in sports,” Cowherd said.
“We’re thrilled to work with the team at DraftKings. They share our vision to empower talented people to do the shows however they want to do them.”
