DraftKings acquires betting broadcaster VSiN to boost content capabilities
VSiN to maintain editorial independence as staff are integrated into operator’s Las Vegas operations

DraftKings has acquired Las Vegas-headquartered sports betting broadcaster and content platform VSiN to build out its content capabilities and tap into the broadcaster’s extensive online audience.
The operator plans to maintain VSiN’s current leadership structure and will continue to give the platform full editorial independence over its content.
VSiN staff will be integrated into DraftKings’ Las Vegas operations, which has grown its staff count by 132% since launching in January 2020.
“VSiN creates authentic and credible content that resonates with sports bettors at every level, whether they’re experienced or new to sports betting,” DraftKings CEO Jason Robins said.
It’s a milestone day for VSiN. We are excited to announce that we are now under the @DraftKings umbrella. We thank our loyal fans as we continue our mission to entertain & educate sports bettors with the industry's most credible news, insights & analysishttps://t.co/ZGCbxJcIrZ

“In addition to its brand equity among sports bettors and engaging talent roster, VSiN also has an established infrastructure that DraftKings can immediately help expand, in the hopes of adding value to consumers who are looking to become more knowledgeable about sports betting,” he added.
The platform produces up to 18 hours of daily live sports betting analysis, while also maintaining a 24/7 live stream.
Its content is accessible via multiple TV, radio, digital networks and streaming platforms, including Comcast Xfinity, Sling TV, fuboTV, Rogers’ Sportsnet, MSG Networks, NESN, AT&T Pittsburgh, Marquee Sports Network, iHeartRadio and TuneIn.
Brian Musburger, VSiN CEO, said: “We created VSiN as a destination for sports bettors to find the most credible content to help inform their wagering decisions.
“Harnessing the power and network of the DraftKings brand will allow us to reach an even wider audience with our unique content,” he added.
Robins told investors during DraftKings’ 2021 Investor Day in March that the operator was considering making bolt-on acquisitions in a number of areas including media and global expansion.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
