Sportech, which manages the group that acquired DraftDay from MGT Capital Investments last month, will white-label the platform for its 14 Connecticut-based venues and MyWinners.com site.
Sportech said the launch of MyWinners Fantasy would offer its customers an exciting new product and would help attract a new and younger player demographic.
âWith the popularity of daily fantasy sports at an all-time high, bringing the power of the DraftDay network to MyWinners.com customers was the next logical step,â MyWinners GM Josh Tepper, said.
âWe hope to provide our players with the same excitement and thrill that they enjoy with our racing content,â he added.
Sportech joined forces with entertainment marketing platform Viggle to acquire DraftDay from MGT Capital Investments last month, after an earlier deal collapsed.
The company holds a 36% share in the DraftDay Gaming Group, and provides executive management and its customer network, as well as running the day-to-day operations.
Since acquiring DraftDay, Sportech and Viggle have looked to position the firm as B2B supplier with plans to join forces with regulated gaming, racing and media industries.
âDraftDay is excited to have Sportech as our first regulated gaming partner to join our B2B network,â DraftDay president Nic Sulsky, said.
âBringing this trusted gaming company into our network establishes credibility and lays the ideal foundation for our imminent growth,â he added.
