Daily active users (DAUs) increased 2% to 1.9million during the three month period ended 30 September 2015, although monthly active users (MAUs) fell 21% to 4.5million.
Despite the decline in MAUs, DoubleDown achieved better monetization levels than Q3 last year with bookings per DAU up 3.4% to $0.48.
Mobile penetration hit 50% in the quarter, compared with 36% in 2014 after the social casino developer shifted attention and investment away from Facebook.
In comparison, market leader Caesars Interactive and its Playtika arm generated revenues of $195m during the third quarter.
The latest numbers take DoubleDown revenues for the first nine months of the year to $233.4m, a 4% increase on the same time last year.
DAUs were up 3.6% to 1.9million, while MAUs were down 23% to 4.6million.
Following its merger with GTECH, IGT has split its business into four arms â International, Italy, North America Lottery, and North America Gaming & Interactive.
Revenues from North America Gaming & Interactive reached $341m during Q3, but include land-based machine sales.
And while IGT broke out revenues from its DoubleDown social casino business, the supplier giant did not separate interactive revenues from land-based gaming revenues.
