Delaware Lottery goes live with Rush Street Interactive online sports betting partnership
“New era of online gaming” begins in the First State as New York-listed firm launches sportsbook and three online casinos

The Delaware Lottery has launched its first online sportsbook and relaunched three online casinos powered by Rush Street Interactive (RSI).
Following a soft launch which took place on December 27, customers across Delaware aged 21 and older will now be able to place bets online in the First State.
The full launch comes after RSI secured concession back in August on an initial five-year term, which can then be renewed on a yearly basis for an additional five-year term pending regulatory approval.
The operator takes over from 888, which had been contracted to provide these services to the Delaware Lottery since 2013, and its contract ended in early 2023.
RSI has launched its BetRivers sportsbook brand in the state, while three online casinos, Delaware Park, Bally’s Dover Casino, and Harrington Raceway & Casino, have relaunched.
Delaware Park and Harrington Raceway & Casino will be accessible via BetRivers’ multi-state app and website while Bally’s Dover Casino operates on a standalone platform.
Helene Keeley, director of the Delaware Lottery, said: “RSI’s successes in other jurisdictions, including neighboring New Jersey and Pennsylvania, are impressive, along with the company’s overall reputation and experience.
“RSI’s commitment to responsible gaming, quality products, breadth of gaming content, and customer service are key reasons we are so excited to partner with them.”
RSI is currently live in 15 states as well as Ontario, Colombia, and Mexico.
Richard Schwartz, RSI CEO, commented: “We are thrilled to begin this historic and much-anticipated launch of the new online sportsbook and casino with the Delaware Lottery and bring our award-winning product to Delaware.
“With our extensive offering of gaming content, wide range of deposit and withdrawal methods, real-time cash-out approvals, and best-in-class customer service, Delaware customers are going to love the convenience of wagering on their favorite sports, slots, and table games from anywhere in the state.”
Schwartz added: “We are honored to collaborate with the Delaware Lottery team and the state’s three casinos to offer consumers in Delaware a safe, convenient, and innovative online entertainment experience.
“The launch into Delaware builds on our proven track record of success in the Mid-Atlantic Region of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey, where RSI has shown that online casinos and sportsbooks complement each other, and we continue to set new records.”
