Colossus Bets goes live with first US racing partner
AmWager to offer leg-by-leg cash-out, jackpots and Syndicates bets on UK and Irish racing
Colossus Bets has gone live in the US with its first horseracing partner through a deal with tote betting operator AmWager.
Under the terms of the agreement, Colossus will provide its pool betting products to AmWager, including leg-by-leg cash-out, big jackpots and crowdfunded Syndicates bets.
The options will be available to US players on UK and Irish racing.
“We are excited to welcome AmWager as the first North American operator to the Colossus network,” said Colossus Bets’ CEO Bernard Marantelli.
“US horseplayers will now be able to experience the benefits of the Colossus innovations that have been so popular in other markets.”
AmWager is one of the largest US Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) operators.

AmWager CEO Nelson Clemmens added: “Our partnership with Colossus will give our players access to the most modernized pools and features available. I am especially pleased that AmWager will be the first ADW to enable players to take control of their multi-leg betting via the cash-out feature on Colossus-hosted pools.”
In January, Colossus Bets secured a licence to operate a totalizator from the Oregon Racing Commission, which allows the firm to offer its racing pool betting services to operators across the US.
The firm also aims to launch sports pools.
