Caesars inks multi-year Chicago White Sox partnership
Sportsbook operator agrees wide-ranging deal with MLB stalwarts
Caesars has agreed a multi-year deal to become the exclusive casino partner and official sports betting partner of Major League Baseball side the Chicago White Sox.
Under the terms of the deal, the sportsbook and igaming operator will gain access to Chicago White Sox logos and marks, rotational LED signage, digital and social media assets.
Caesars will also be able to offer exclusive White Sox experiences through its loyalty program, Caesars Rewards.
In addition, the partnership includes prominent, TV-visible fixed signage with a right field board featuring Caesars land-based casino properties and channel lettering affixed to the top of the left field video board.
Caesars CEO Tom Reeg noted it was a “perfect time” to conclude a partnership with the White Sox, with igaming and sports betting in Michigan on the rise.
“Some of the most passionate sports fans in the country call Illinois home. Caesars can provide White Sox fans and sports fans across the state with the very best in sports experiences through our world-class resorts and the recent relaunch of the Caesars Sportsbook app now available for mobile registration,” Reeg said.
As part of their end of partnership, the Chicago White Sox will integrate Caesars casino and Caesars sportsbook into its marketing and team merchandise, as well as offers and promotional materials.
“By teaming up with a globally recognized entertainment leader in Caesars, we are delivering the combined brand reputation and shared commitment to offer our fans an extraordinary sports and entertainment experience,” White Sox chief revenue and marketing officer Brooks Boyer said.
“With energized talent on the field, our partnership with Caesars enhances the excitement for our fans with new experiences and programs,” he added.
Caesars operates a number of sports betting partnerships with teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Mets, and the Indianapolis Colts.
