Caesars Entertainment launches online casino offering in Michigan
Operator debuts Horseshoe Online Casino app and desktop platform exclusively in the Great Lake State

Caesars Entertainment has announced the launch of its Horseshoe Online Casino platform in Michigan.
The brand will be available as an online casino app and desktop platform to players in the Great Lake State, with plans to eventually expand into other jurisdictions where Caesars’ digital igaming platform is live.
Operating on a natively built proprietary gaming platform, the online casino features a bespoke bonus engine with customizable player promotions.
The launch, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, aims to “immerse players into a platform accentuated by the classic sophistication of the Horseshoe brand and its signature gold horseshoe iconography.”
Players will have access to a gaming library exclusive to Horseshoe Online Casino, while being able to earn credits for the Caesars Rewards loyalty scheme. Customers will also be able to take advantage of promotions with the chance to win real-world experiences at Caesars destinations.
Matt Sunderland, senior vice-president and chief igaming officer at Caesars Digital, said: “The Horseshoe brand is anchored by a promise to put the player first.
“A brand with such a storied past deserves an online equivalent that pays respect to the legacy it has established in gaming, and that is what we’ve created with Horseshoe Online Casino.
“This launch reinforces our multi-brand online casino strategy by seamlessly bringing another one of our world-class Caesars brands into the palms of players’ hands.”
Caesars initially announced the online casino brand would be launched in Michigan in September during its Q2 earnings call, while also confirming plans to launch in Ontario in Q1 2025.
At the time, Caesars Digital CEO Eric Hession warned the brand wouldn’t “command the market share” like Caesars Palace Online Casino.
Caesars expanded into Michigan back in June following its acquisition of WynnBet Michigan.
The operator also entered into a partnership with the Detroit Lions last month, becoming the NFL side’s official sportsbook and igaming partner.
