
Caesars announces Kim Harris Jones as latest board member
Casino giant has expanded its board of directors to 10 members following former Chrysler head’s appointment

Caesars Entertainment has confirmed the appointment of Kim Harris Jones to the board of directors, with the business claiming she will bring “unique perspective and in-depth experience” to the table.
Harris Jones previously served as Mondelez International senior vice-president and corporate controller while the company was spun off from Kraft Foods before retiring in 2015.
Before her tenure as Kraft’s senior vice-president, Harris Jones spent 17 years at Chrysler, occupying several leadership positions while operating as the company’s corporate controller.
She also spent six years with General Motors earlier in her career.
Harris Jones recently featured in BoardProspects Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors”, while she has also been recognised as one of “25 Women to Watch” by CFO Magazine.
Harris Jones’ appointment sees Caesars board expand to 10 members.
Addressing the news on LinkedIn, Harris Jones declared she was “very honoured” to be joining the board of directors at Caesars.
Gary Carano, Caesars executive chairman, expressed his delight at the announcement, adding: “Kim Harris Jones is a tremendous addition to the Caesars Entertainment leadership team.
“With her extensive experience in finance and a reputation as a thoughtful and engaged leader inside some of the largest consumer-packaged goods and automotive companies, Kim’s addition will give us another lens through which to see stronger, more dynamic future possibilities for Caesars Entertainment.”
Caesars CEO Tom Reeg echoed a similar sentiment, claiming: “I’m pleased to count Kim Harris Jones among our board of directors.
“Kim shares our vision for strategic, collaborative innovation. She has outstanding experience navigating complex issues and implementing transformation for optimization.
“I look forward to working with her, the rest of our board, and the management team to continue to drive results for our guests, our team members, and our shareholders.”
Elsewhere, Caesars recently retained its fourth-place position in EGR’s 2024 US Power Rankings.
