Brady and Gretzky team up for BetMGM’s first-ever Super Bowl TV ad
NFL and NHL legends join veteran comedy actor Vince Vaughn as part of star-studded campaign ahead of Super Bowl 58 next month

BetMGM has debuted the first teaser of a three-part advertising campaign for Super Bowl 58 starring NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, NFL icon Tom Brady, and veteran comedy actor Vince Vaughn.
The campaign is promoting the operator’s first-ever Big Game television spot in what will be a landmark moment for the Entain and MGM Resorts JV.
In the first teaser clip, Vaughn and Brady are seen filming the advert, with Vaughn calling cut to shift Brady off-screen and re-record the clip with just himself in the shot.
The advertising campaign was created in partnership with agency Highdive, who have previous experience of creating Big Game campaigns.
These ads are a part of BetMGM’s wider strategy to reach as many people as possible before, during, and after the Super Bowl, which is due to be held on February 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The operator will also host multiple events and promotions in the weeks leading up to the showpiece event, including the BetMGM Big Game Bash at The Cosmopolitan, headlined by Luke Combs.
Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer at BetMGM, said: “This year’s Big Game is our moment to put BetMGM front and center of the largest audience in sports.
“Our first-ever Big Game commercial showcases Las Vegas as home for the game as well as what we consider to be BetMGM’s home.
“We couldn’t be happier with the talent we have assembled for the ad and the connection they have to our brand,” he added.
