Betway inks multi-year Philadelphia 76ers partnership
Super Group subsidiary adds to international marketing portfolio with US betting agreement

Betway has agreed a multi-year partnership to become the official sports betting partner of NBA franchise the Philadelphia 76ers.
Under the agreement, Betway signage will feature at the Wells Fargo Center during regular season home games, including visibility on team bench bibs, courtside LEDs and basket stanchions throughout games.
The bookmaker’s logo will also be seen on TV-visible advertising boards alongside the scorers’ table. The partnership also includes a social media sweepstake giving Sixers fans the chance to win home game tickets.
For its part, the Philadelphia 76ers will provide Betway with online exposure by showcasing Betway branding through its social media accounts.
In addition, prior to each regular season 76ers game, Betway will sponsor a pre-game stats graphic that will give fans pre-game insights, while 76ers’ social media channels will promote Betway marketing initiatives.
In the US, the Betway brand now has gone live in Iowa, Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Betway CEO Anthony Werkman said he was “thrilled” to add to Betway’s growing US portfolio.
“As the Betway brand is licensed in Pennsylvania, this is not just a branding opportunity but a chance for us to engage with fans who will also be able to access our product,” he explained.
“With an extensive list of marketing assets associated with the deal, we are sure this will be a very successful partnership,” Werkman added.
The partnership forms part of the wider Super Group strategy of targeting global marketing agreements which are locally targeted, simple in message and try to retain a personal approach with players.
Betway has been especially active in securing new partnerships over the last month, particularly with NBA teams, including the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
The operator already has deals in place with the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Golden State Warriors.
