Betr launches combat sports media arm
Betr Combat to provide fans with 24/7 coverage as US startup plans further media expansions into additional sports

Jake Paul-led micro-betting firm Betr has launched a new combat sports media arm called Betr Combat.
Betr Combat will provide fans with 24/7 coverage of combat sports, including original shows, commentatry, fight previews and interviews.
Betr Combat has also named professional mixed martial artist Bo Nickal and sports personality David ‘The Schmo’ Schmulenson as key figures for the new division.
Nickal will produce a series about his life and career, including behind-the-scenes footage for his first UFC fight in March.
Schmulenson’s podcast and interview series will join the franchise.
Betr Combat is one of several new media verticals that Betr is set to roll out as part of its expansion plans.
Speaking on its launch, Paul, who is a professional boxer, said: “Combat sports and content creation are my passions, so the launch of Betr Combat was both exciting and inevitable.
“We are building a media enterprise with the goal of attracting top tier talent in every sport and this is no exception.
“Bo Nickal is a Penn State legend and one of the biggest MMA prospects in recent history, while The Schmo is one of the most unique and charismatic media personalities in combat sports,” the 26-year-old added.
Betr launched in Ohio in January after soft-launching the product nationwide as a free-to-play version.
