BetMGM VP of trading departs after 11 years
Former Ladbrokes Australia CEO Jason Scott leaves the Entain-owned firm after 11 years across parent company brands

BetMGM’s VP of trading, VIP and retail sportsbooks, Jason Scott, has announced his departure after spending over a decade working across Entain-owned brands.
Scott joined BetMGM in December 2019 following a lengthy stint at Entain-owned operator Ladbrokes in his native Australia.
He originally joined Ladbrokes Australia in March 2012 as a trading director, a position he held for five years.
Scott was then made interim CEO of Ladbrokes Australia in February 2017 and appointed to the role on a permanent basis in July 2017. Scott was at the helm of Ladbrokes Australia for just over two years before making the move to the US.
Prior to his time with Ladbrokes Australia, he was a horseracing bookmaker with the Tatts Group and a racing analyst with Humbleton Pty.
In a post on LinkedIn, Scott wrote of his sadness at leaving the firm and his future plans following his exit.
Scott said: “It is with a mix of sadness and happiness that after 11 years in the Entain/BetMGM family, today is my last day, and I’m heading back to Australia.
“It’s been a fun ride, playing my small part in the growth of two businesses evolving into a couple of fairly substantial entities.”
