
BetMGM lands NHL partnership extension
Operator seals multi-year add-on to existing relationship with hockey league to bolster marketing presence


BetMGM has secured a multi-year extension to its partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL).
The MGM Resorts and Entain JV will continue to operate as the NHL’s official sports betting and gaming partner in North America.
Under the remit of the extension, BetMGM will be granted “significant branding” during national NHL broadcasts during the regular and post-season.
BetMGM will also work with the NHL to produce “specialized VIP fan experiences” while using NHL imagery to design team and League-branded casino games.
The duo will continue their commitment to responsible gambling as part of the extension.
This includes their partnerships with the American Gaming Association’s ‘Have A Game Plan’ public service campaign.
