BetMGM hires gaming director from Evolution
Oliver Bartlett joins the operator as it steals top igaming market share position for three months to February

Oliver Bartlett has joined BetMGM as director of gaming after almost three years as Evolution’s North American business development manager, EGR North America has learned.
Bartlett will be based at the Entain/MGM JV’s New Jersey headquarters and will report into VP of gaming Matthew Sunderland.
He will be responsible for driving BetMGM’s gaming performance through marketing and promotions across the US.
Between 2016 and 2018, Bartlett was head of live products for Entain in Gibraltar. He has also held a number of VIP manager roles at operators including Genting, Gala Coral, Full Tilt Poker and bgo.
“I’m excited to bring my expertise to the table and do my part to ensure we’re at the top spot in each and every state in which we operate,” Bartlett told EGR North America.
“BetMGM is the product of two respected parent organizations – a legendary global entertainment company and the world’s largest online betting technology company,” he added.
The operator has grown its igaming market share in the US, with Eilers and Krejcik’s (EKG) most recent estimate for the three months to February placing BetMGM at the top of the leader board in terms of gaming revenue.
BetMGM has stormed well ahead of FanDuel and DraftKings with an overall igaming market share of 23.7%, according to the analyst firm.
