BetMakers appoints Caesars’ Stuart to helm North America operation
Gaming industry veteran to lead racing-solutions provider’s expansion in US market

BetMakers Technology Group has named Christian Stuart as its new North America CEO, with the longtime Caesars Entertainment executive set to lead the global racing-solutions provider’s expansion in the US market.
Stuart, who most recently served as head of Caesars sports and online gaming, has spent 16 years in the gaming industry including over a decade with Caesars. During that time, his roles ranged from regional VP to chief marketing officer to executive vice president gaming & interactive entertainment. He had since led Caesars’ sports and online gaming division since July 2020.
Stuart will now be tasked with helping forge new inroads in North America for BetMakers, which provides racing stakeholders of all types – operators, rights holders, racing authorities etc. – with solutions for every stage of the fixed-odds and pari-mutuel racing and betting life cycle.
“I am excited about the opportunities that lay ahead for BetMakers, both in the US and globally,” said Stuart. “BetMakers’ suite of innovative products and existing US management team has created an opportunity for the company to quickly expand across the US.”
“We have been investing heavily in the US market for the past three years while at the same time building up a US-focused management team,” added BetMakers CEO and managing director Todd Buckingham.
“As a next milestone in these efforts, I am excited that Christian is joining the BetMakers leadership team as CEO of North America, given his vast leadership experience in the US gaming industry.”
Stuart brings a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise to BetMakers, with experience developing gaming strategies, managing executive operations, facilitating large scale M&A and building online gaming and sports betting divisions throughout his Caesars tenure.
“North America is a critical market for our company with its potential for significant growth on the back of the widespread US sports betting expansion and the potential growth of fixed odds wagering,” said Buckingham.
Stuart will be based out of Las Vegas and begin effective immediately, pending any regulatory approvals.
