Betfred appoints US COO
Former AGS SVP Bryan Bennett will lead Betfred's expansion into the US retail and online sports betting market

Betfred has appointed a chief operating officer (COO) for Betfred USA, as the Warrington-headquartered bookmaker looks to expand in the US online rand retail markets.
The role has been filled by Bryan Bennett, previously an SVP at US slots manufacturer AGS where he spent four years until June 2019.
He previously worked for three years at social casino firm RocketPlay where he was VP of marketing.
Bennett said in a LinkedIn post: “I’ll be leading Betfred’s expansion into the US retail and online sports betting market, and I cannot wait to get started working with the entire Betfred team to tackle this huge opportunity.”
Bennett will be based in Betfred’s recently-opened office in Las Vegas.
The bookmaker has so far announced one US partner in the form of Iowa property Elite Casino Resorts.
Betfred Group COO Mark Stebbings said in a statement provided to EGR: “Bryan has a wealth of experience and an exemplary track record. He shares our vision for our US operation and this appointment will help us achieve our goals in this exciting new market.”
Back in October 2018 Betfred hired a Las Vegas consulting firm to help it expand its operations to the US.
