Betfair Casino extends GAN platform deal
New Jersey operator agrees multi-year extension after profitable 2017

Betfair has inked a multi-year extension to its platform provision deal with GAN for the Betfair Casino in New Jersey.
The two firms partnered to launch BetfairCasino.com back in 2013, with 2017 revenues growing 29% to $16m.
“BetfairCasino.com offers a unique iGaming product experience for customers in New Jersey,” said Kip Levin, CEO of Betfair US.
“The extension of this agreement is a reflection of GAN’s flexible technology system, ‘can-do’ attitude and their overall commitment”.
Eilers & Krejcik estimate Betfair to be the second largest single brand in New Jersey, behind only Golden Nugget, with an approximate 12% market share
Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN added: “We’re privileged to renew and extend our agreement with Paddy Power Betfair in the United States, one of the largest Internet sports betting and gaming operators in the world today.
“Our respective teams have performed well over an extended period in order to establish BetfairCasino.com as the leading independent Internet casino in New Jersey. We look forward to continued shared success.”
The Betfair Casino also recently underwent a leadership change with Jesse Chemtob taking over the top role from Lorcan Kelly.
Chemtob, formerly the director of business development at TVG/Betfair US, took over the post in March.
Kelly is now the senior product director at Betfair TVG.
