
Bet365 joins Colorado betting fray with Century Casinos deal
Operator will launch its mobile app in the state once it completes the necessary licensing process


Bet365 has entered Colorado via a partnership with Century Casinos that will enable it to operate its betting app and desktop site in the state.
The operator will need to carry out the necessary licensing application and approval process before launching operations locally, however.
The 10-year agreement includes a minimum annual revenue guarantee and annual revenue share, with an advance fee paid to Century upon signing the contract.
Colorado Springs-based Century operates three subsidiaries in the Centennial State, two of which are casino properties.
It has previously partnered with Las Vegas bookmaker Circa Sports to give it mobile betting access and has one final master license available for a mobile betting partnership in Colorado.
The state officially launched betting almost three weeks ago now, with BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel and BetRivers among the first operators to go live, with Fox Bet joining them today.
European operator Carousel Group will make its entry in the US via its SportsBetting.com product in Colorado.
Research firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming anticipates Colorado’s sports betting industry will achieve a $300m revenue at “baseline maturity”, with online accounting for 85% of that revenue.
Bet365 set its New Jersey app live in August 2019 after securing an office in the state in 2018.
