Bet365 expands Colorado presence with creation of new US HQ
Online giant hails "watershed moment" for its US operations as it aims to hire 300 people in new base and fill 1,000 roles statewide

Bet365 has opened a new office in Denver, Colorado, as announced by the state’s governor, Jared Polis, and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s global business development division.
The privately owned UK company’s new US headquarters is situated at 1701 Platte Street, near downtown Denver, after it renovated 120,000 sq ft of office space.
Bet365 estimated the new base would create up to 1,000 new jobs in the Centennial State, adding to its 7,000-strong worldwide workforce.
The firm currently employs 50 people at the new Denver office and plans to hire up to 300 more staff within the first year.
These positions will span across departments including marketing, legal, finance, facilities, human resources, and recruitment.
Additional roles in customer service operations, trading, software development, and technology will also be made available.
Bet365 will, over an eight-year period, benefit from more than $14m in performance-based job growth incentive tax credits after they were approved by the Colorado Economic Development Commission.
Such incentives depend on the operator meeting the new job creation and salary requirements it already set out.

A bet365 spokesperson said: “Unveiling our US headquarters in beautiful downtown Denver represents a watershed moment in bet365’s North American journey.
“The Mile High City and its thriving business community is the ideal location to launch the next chapter in our company’s future, and we’re excited to create an industry-leading, innovative workplace in our new home.”
Governor Polis added: “We are thrilled to welcome bet365 and nearly 1,000 jobs to Colorado and congratulate them on the grand opening of their new US headquarters here.
“Bet365 will create nearly 1,000 new, good-paying jobs and as many as 300 this year that will help Coloradans earn a good living and support their families. We are confident they will quickly find that our great state is the best place to live, work and do business.”
Bet365 is live in 11 US states, the most recent launch being the rollout of sports betting and igaming in Pennsylvania.
The company has overhauled its mobile product, a move boutique analyst firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) said in its newsletter last week was “yet another sign it [bet365] is taking the US opportunity increasingly seriously.
“The update is a clear Americanisation of the product, in our view, with cleaner layouts, bigger, punchier fonts, and better SGP (same game parley) signposting.”
EKG has previously noted that bet365 is growing its market share in key US markets, including around an 8% net gaming revenue market share in Ohio for May to July.
