Bee Cave Games secures $5.5m investment
Social and mobile game developer takes total raised capital to $10m with latest funding round
Social and mobile game developer Bee Cave Games has closed a $5.5m funding round from Matrix Partners, taking the total raised by the firm to $10m. [private]
It is the fourth time that Matrix Partners has invested in Austin-based Bee Cave Games, with the capital due to be pumped into product development.
As a part of the investment, Josh Hannah, general partner at Matrix Partners, will join Bee Caveâs board of directors to help the company continue to scale.
Hannah is the co-founder of Flutter.com, which merged with Betfair to form the Betfair Group in 2002, and joined Matrix Partners back in 2009.

âJosh has been a great partner, and I look forward to working even more closely with him as we continue to expand and refine our offerings,â he added.
