Bally’s looks to Rhode Island igaming future with Stakelogic deal
Providence-headquartered operator and supplier to team up on live casino offering beginning with Ocean State

Bally’s Corporation has agreed a multi-year strategic partnership with igaming supplier Stakelogic to develop Bally’s first live casino offering in the US.
The partnership will see Stakelogic develop the live casino offering, which will include Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat, with the operator targeting an April 2024 launch in the US state of Rhode Island.
Stakelogic has two live casino studios in Europe, a portfolio of over 250+ slot games, as well as state-of-the-art live dealer technology.
Bally’s CEO Robeson Reeves welcomed the strategic partnership and the possibilities it will offer the Providence-headquartered firm as it moves into regulated igaming in the state.
“We are thrilled to partner with Stakelogic to bring our live casino operations online in Rhode Island,” Reeves said.
“With a partner like Stakelogic, we know we are putting our best foot forward, and we are confident that we will be able to provide our Rhode Island customers with a truly exciting live dealer experience,” the CEO concluded.
Rhode Island, Bally’s home state, passed legislation to legalize igaming on June 22, making it the seventh state to do so in the US.
Under the enabling legislation,Bally’s, which operates the state’s two casino properties, is tasked to work with IGT to develop a statewide igaming platform, offering Islanders online slots and table games, as well as live dealer.
Distinct from state laws on sports betting, igaming is subject to an age gate of 21, as opposed to 18, as it applies to both retail and online sports betting in the state. The bill sets a launch date for the platform of April 1, 2024.
Given its extensive footprint in the state and the nature of the legislation placed into force, Bally’s would effectively operate a monopoly on igaming in Rhode Island, a question raised in the run up to the passage of legislation in June.
