BetMGM states latest resolved technical issues unrelated to September hack
Customers took to social media to report log in issues and accounts being cleared of money

BetMGM has suffered further online issues just weeks after the recent hack at MGM Resorts international.
Players took to social media on October 4 to raise grievances, namely the inability to access accounts.
Other players said that they could not deposit any money, leading to discontent online when the operator was still sending out promo tweets and not commenting on the issues being raised.
It follows the September 10 cyberattack which saw customer reservations, on-site cash withdrawals, and slot machines on casino floors be rendered unusable across 30 of its land-based venues.
Responding to players who voiced their problems on X, formerly known as Twitter, BetMGM replied to several individual posts telling people to message them privately for more help.
The post read: “Hi! Thank you for reaching out. At your earliest convenience, please send us a DM with your full name, registered email address, and date of birth. Once we have that information, we’d be happy to assist you further.”
According to reports from LSR and Bonus.com, the issue has been resolved though.
A statement provided to those publications from BetMGM read: We are aware of a technical issue earlier today that resulted in some customers experiencing delays or difficulty accessing their accounts. That issue has been resolved.”
MGM Resorts reported on September 21 that it was fully operational after the earlier attack, the firm being the first of two operators to be attacked that month.
Caesars Entertainment confirmed days after the early September attack that it had been hacked and some of its players had their personal data stolen, as well a copy of the Caesars Rewards loyalty database.
