Flutter Entertainment tops US Power Rankings on FanDuel success story
Dublin-based operator comfortably maintains top spot for 2021 as Fox Bet and PokerStars bolster US business alongside FanDuel, Betfair and TVG

Flutter Entertainment has topped the 2021 EGR US Power Rankings almost 12 months after the completion of its merger with The Stars Group (TSG).
The jewel in the Dublin-headquartered gambling giant’s crown remains FanDuel. Flutter increased its stake in FanDuel to 95% last December.
Flutter’s total US revenue across the group reached £695m ($896m) in 2020, 40% more than nearest rival DraftKings could manage.
The US business, comprised of FanDuel, Betfair Casino, TVG, PokerStars, and Fox Bet, eclipsed the revenue of its nearest two competitors combined, partly due to FanDuel’s estimated New Jersey online sports betting market share of 45% in 2020.
DraftKings holds onto the number two spot for the second year in a row thanks to a hugely eventful 12 months since going public on the Nasdaq in April 2020 via a SPAC. It’s New Jersey online sports wagering market share for 2020 was 26.7%.
Entain and MGM Resorts’ JV, BetMGM, moves up a spot to take a place on the podium this year, while Rush Street Interactive and Golden Nugget Online Gaming round off the top five.
