Slots Tracker: US and Canada see no change in top spots

White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways maintained its top ranking in the US Slots for December while it was all change for the remaining top five titles from November.

NetEnt’s Divine Fortune and IGT’s Fortune Coin both jumped up one spot to sit in second and third places, respectively, with November’s second ranked Cash Eruption by IGT now in fourth.

ReelPlay’s Hypernova Megaways leapt two spots from seventh to fifth, IGT’s Cleopatra slipped down from fifth to sixth while Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes and NetEnt’s Mercy of the Gods both gained a ranking place, hopping from eighth to seventh place and ninth to eighth, respectively.

Ranked 10^th in December is new entry Saint Nicked Jackpot Royale by White Hat Gaming, the only new entry of the month.

November’s 10^th ranked game, Everi’s Betrivers Wild, ranked 20^th in December, representing the biggest drop of the month.

AGS’ Capital Gains moved up to 11^th from 12^th, Lightning Box’s Lightning Gorilla leapfrogged seven spots into 12^th place, and Big Time Gaming’s Extra Chilli dropped from 11^th to 13^th.

There was a significant jump for Light & Wonder’s Rich Little Piggies Meal Ticket, up 22 spots from 36 to 14, and an even bigger leap for Lightning Box’s Money Link the Great Immortals which was 53^rd place in November but made it way all the way up to 15^th a month later.

Big Money Frenzy by White Hat Gaming moved down three ranking spots to 16^th, Shuffle Master’s Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure dropped two spots to 17^th, while DGC’s Gold Blitz moved up the rankings from 20^th position in November to 18^th a month later.

Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin by IGT made its way into the top 20, landing at 19^th place after its 26^th position finish in November.

Meanwhile, December’s Canadian slot rankings saw the top three titles remain unchanged from November: Gameburger Studio’s 9 Masks of Fire stayed on top with Pragmatic Play duo Sweet Bonanza and Big Bass Bonanza rounding out the top three in second and third places, respectively.

It was a successful month for Pragmatic Play with Gates of Olympus jumping from eighth to fourth place, Big Bass Splash up fourth to sixth, Sugar Rush in eighth, and Wolf Gold in ninth.

There were four new entries in the Canadian rankings in December. Gold Blitz Extreme by Fortune Factory Studios landed the highest ranking spot at 11^th place followed by Team Santa Power Combo by Aurum Signature Studios in 12^th. Next was Chicken Night Fever by PearFiction Studios coming in at 15^th while Mining Pots of Gold by Gameburger Studios came in at 18^th.

Two titles from Pragmatic Play which had previously ranked in the hundreds also made their debut into the top 20. Bigger Bass Blizzard Christmas Catch was moved up from 106^th place in November to 13^th in December while Christmas Big Bass Bonanza rocketed from 127^th to 16^th.

The supplier’s Sweet Bonanza Xmas also cracked the top 20 with a huge leap of 71 spots to land 20^th place having ended November in 91^st place.

For the US December rankings list, EGR’s data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), examined 56 sites and 2,915 games across six states. Fifty-eight webpages were looked at with games across 150 studios considered.

In Canada, EGM scrutinized 69 sites, 3,765 games, and a total of 75 webpages across five provinces. Games from 193 studios were viewed.
