
Slots Tracker: Two new titles take top spot in US and Canada rankings
IGT holds onto gold in the US but with a different game as former leader slips to third, while Pragmatic Play nabs first and second in Canada

New titles sit atop the US and Canada slot rankings for June, though IGT maintained its first place in the latter albeit with a different title.
Cash Eruption jumped two spots from its May ranking to nab gold, replacing Cleopatra, which now sits in third.
White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways comes in second after being fourth the previous month, while May’s second-placed title Fortune Coin by IGT is now fourth.
Lightning Box’s Lightning Gorilla rounds out the top five, moving up two places in June.
No titles dropped out of the top 10, while Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza was the only game to make the leap into the top-half of the rankings after rising two places from 11th to ninth.
The biggest drop in the top 20 of June’s rankings saw two titles both fall three places: IGT’s Cash Machine moved from fifth to eighth and AGS’ Capital Gains went from 14th in May to 17th in June.
Three titles are new to the top 20 – ReelPlay’s 10,000 Wonders 10k Ways that sat in 25th in May and now ranks 16th, Lightning Box’s Lightning Eclipse was 31st and climbed up to 18th and, lastly, DGC’s Gold Blitz snuck into the top 20 after moving up nine spots from 29th.
While there were no new entries, three titles fell out of the rankings altogether.
Those were NetEnt’s Divine Fortune (10th place in May), Red Tiger’s Blood Suckers Megaways (16th) and Slingo Orginals Lucky Larrys Lobstermania Slingo (20th).
EGR’s data partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) examined slots across seven states – New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island – while 2,807 games were scrutinized from 150 studios and 53 sites.
Meanwhile, in Canada, Pragmatic Play clinched the top two spots with Gates of Olympus jumping from fourth to first and Sweet Bonanza holding onto second place.
May’s top-ranked title Stormcraft Studio’s Immortal Romance 2 dropped to third in June, while Gameburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire slipped one place from third to fourth. IGT’s Cleopatra maintained its position in fifth.
Two titles moved up the top 20 rankings and into the top 10 in June, namely, Pragmatic Play’s Buffalo King Megaways, up from 16th to ninth and Stormcraft Studios’ Thunderstruck Stormchaser jumping two spots from 12th to 10th.
Multiple titles rose double-digits, with the biggest mover being Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz rising from 42nd place to 16th.
Next was Pragmatic Play’s Madame Destiny Megaways which was ranked 37th in May and came in at 18th in June, while the studio also saw Gates of Olympus 1000 move from 25th to 12th.
There was one new entry in June’s rankings, Foxium’s Vikings Fight for Honour making its debut in 14th place.
Four titles dropped out of the top 20 rankings completely between May and June: Wishbone Games’ Kingfisher (which was ranked 8th), Northern Lights Gaming’s Unusual Catch (9th), Games Global’s Sparkling Joker X Up (15th), and Foxium’s 3 Tiny Gods Bonanza (18th).
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
A total of 3,030 games were analyzed from 193 studios and 66 sites.
