
Slots Tracker: Top two switch places in US and Canadian rankings
White Hat Gaming regains number one spot in the US after a month away while 9 Masks of Fire’s seven months at the top in Canada comes to an end

April marked a month of changes in the EGR Slots Trackers as first and second swapped places in both US and Canadian rankings.
IGT’s Fortune Coin slipped from the top spot in the US, with White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways regaining its first-place position after losing it in March.
IGT held onto third and fourth places with Cleopatra and Cash Eruption, albeit swapping positions, while Lightning Box’s Lightning Gorilla moved into the top five after being ranked seventh in March.
The biggest move in the top 10 saw Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza rise three spots into 10th, while there were five titles in the top 20 that jumped significantly in this month’s rankings.
AGS’ Mega Diamond was the biggest climber in April, moving from 73rd place in March to 20th in April. Up next was Lightning Box’s Lightning Shenlong, one place above Mega Diamond, which jumped 29 spots from 48th to 19th.
Another Lightning Box title, Thundering Shenlong, leaped 25 places to enter the top 20 in 18th place.
The other two big movers were Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes Megaways, moving from 27th to 16th, and SG Digital’s Thundering Gorilla, which ranked 15th in April after occupying the 34th spot in March.
Five titles dropped out of the top 20 altogether in April after securing spots in the rankings in March. IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin (10th), NetEnt’s Mercy of Gods (14th), IGT’s Cash Eruption Vegas (15th), and White Hat Gaming duo Big Catch Bass Fishing (18th) and Big Money Frenzy (19th) all failed to retain their high rankings.
EGR’s data partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) examined slots across seven states – New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island – while 2,842 games were scrutinized from 149 studios and 55 sites.
Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza toppled Gameburger Studio’s 9 Masks of Fire to move into first place, as the top five spots were shaken up in the Canadian rankings.
Stormcraft Studios’ Thunderstruck Stormchaser moved up one spot from fourth to third, IGT’s Cash Eruption moved from 11th to fourth, while stablemate Cleopatra cracked the top five after being ranked eighth in March.
There were some big movers further down the rankings, the biggest being Pragmatic Play’s Sugar Rush 1,000 moving an impressive 154 places from 170th to 16th.
There was also a big jump for All41 Studios’ 3 Powers of Zeus Power Combo which landed in 20th after being 92nd last month.
Elsewhere, seven titles dropped out of the top 20 completely having been ranked among the leading games in March, including Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz Extreme which was third.
Slingshot Studios’ Spinny McWinnagin Loot Boost (12th), Push Gaming’s Wild Swarm 2 (13th), Fortune Factory Studios’ Blazing Bison Gold Blitz (14th), Gameburger Studios’ Hyper Star (15th), Triple Edge Gaming’s Fire and Roses Joker (17th), and Gameburger Studios’ Mining Pots of Gold (19th) also all lost their places in the Canadian rankings.
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia. A total of 3,055 games were analyzed from 190 studios and 65 sites.
