Slots Tracker: Light & Wonder remains the firm to beat at the top of the US slots rankings
IGT dominates top six titles as 88 Fortunes continues to hold off NetEnt in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania
Light & Wonder’s 88 Fortunes retained first place in the EGR US Slots Tracker rankings for April as the top six slots remained unchanged from March.
Evolution/NetEnt’s Divine Fortune remained in the silver medal position, followed by a trio of IGT games from third place through to fifth.
Cleopatra took the final place of the podium, followed by Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin and Fortune Coin.
Evolution/Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza remained unmoved in sixth.
The highest movers in the April rankings came from IGT’s Cats, which jumped from 11th to seventh, and ReelPlay’s Hypernova MegaWays which moved from 12th to ninth.
Light & Wonder’s 5 Treasures suffered the biggest slip from March to April, dropping from 15th to 19th.
There were four new entries in the April rankings, of which Light & Wonder’s Ultra Blazing Fire Link debuted highest in ninth.
Other new entries included Evolution/NetEnt’s Mercy of the Gods (12th), Slingo Xxxtreme by Slingo (13th) and IGT’s Cleopatra 2 (20th).
There were also two re-entries in the shape of Everi’s Cash Machine (10th) and Light & Wonder’s 88 Fortunes Megaways (15th).
A total of 31 sites were scrutinized as part of the April tri-state sample, including 146 webpages and 1,125 games.
Games are ranked by their position throughout the month across all online casino sites in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Only the ‘main’ page of the casinos is taken into account, and the top 20 most prominent positions on those pages.
The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 20 positions throughout the month. Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours. Table games such as roulette and blackjack are excluded from the rankings, as are live casino games.
