Slots Tracker: IGT lockout continues in April as top two remain unchanged

IGT’s Fortune Coin continued its stay at the summit of the EGR North America US Slots Rankings in April after seizing top spot from its IGT-compatriot and number two slot Cleopatra in March.

Egaming Monitor data for April confirmed no change in the top two, with Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz gatecrashing the top three, rising from sixth place in March to the bronze medal position in April.

Previous bronze medal incumbent Gamesburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire slid into fourth spot, with Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes maintaining its fifth position, just ahead of IGT’s Cash Eruption, which dropped two spots to sixth.

April’s highest placed new entry, Triple Edge Gaming’s Cash N Riches Megaways jumped into seventh position, pushing Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza, ReelPlay’s Hypernova Megaways, and NetEnt’s Divine Fortune down one place each, respectively.

Following the lead of its sister slot, Triple Edge Gaming’s Fire and Roses Joker rose a whopping 72 spots in the US Slots Rankings in April to 12th spot, ahead of the second new entrant, PearFiction Studios’ Granny vs Zombies, which entered the rankings in 13th place.

The title of April’s biggest faller was won by IGT’s Da Vinci Diamonds, which saw its 11th spot in March transition to an 18th position in April.

This was in advance of April risers Divine Fortune Megaways by NetEnt, which jumped eight places to 19th, and SG Digital’s Marvellous Mouse Coin Combo which rounded out the table in 20th spot, advancing by 24 spots.

EGaming Monitor data reviewed 98 sites in April 2023, with 3,114 games scrutinized. A total of 115 webpages were examined across eight territories.

In the US, these included New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia, while in Canada, the list includes Ontario, British Columbia, and New Brunswick.
