Slots Tracker: IGT closes out top three spots in June as Fortune Coin keeps first place
Digital Gaming Corporation’s 9 Masks of Fire drops out of podium positions for first time as Cleopatra ends month-long exile
IGT’s dominance of the EGR US Slots Rankings was reinforced in June, with the Las Vegas-headquartered supplier locking out all three podium places during the month.
The latest rankings from EGR’s data partner eGaming Monitor(EGM), revealed longtime leader Fortune Coin in top spot, just ahead of Cash Eruption, and Cleopatra, which ended its month-long exile from the medal positions in third spot.
Falling out of the top three during June was Digital Gaming Corporation’s 9 Masks of Fire, which dropped two spots to fourth position, failing to capitalize on its silver medal position in May.
The big mover in the top six was Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes, which jumped four spots to fifth place, leapfrogging Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza slot into sixth.
Everi’s Cash Machine returned to the top 10 in June, rising four places to eighth spot, but was overshadowed by Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza, which rose by 22 positions to 10th spot.
June saw one new entrant into the US Slots Rankings, Fortune Factory Studios’ Blazing Bison Gold Blitz, coming out of nowhere to cement 13th position.
Slots returning to the top 20 during June all had a mythological theme, with NetEnt’s Mercy of the Gods, Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus and Everi’s Kingmaker all clawing their way back into the rankings.
EGM data reviewed 98 sites in June 2023, with 3,591 games scrutinized. A total of 109 webpages were examined across eight territories.
In the US, these included New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia, while in Canada the list included including Ontario, British Columbia, and New Brunswick.
