
Slots Tracker: IGT toppled from summit of US rankings as Canadian status quo continues in November
White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways replaces IGT’s Cash Eruption with Gameburger Studios 9 Masks of Fire retaining first spot in Canada


IGT’s long reign at the summit of the US Slots rankings ended in November with White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways leapfrogging IGT’s Cash Eruption and Fortune Coin during the month.
The rise to the top of the White Hat Gaming slot saw the aforementioned IGT duo fall to second and third positions, respectively, during November, with NetEnt’s Divine Fortune retaining its fourth spot.
IGT’s Cleopatra slot jumped from ninth place in October to fifth in November, just ahead of Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza, which retained its sixth position as the year draws to a close.
Reel Play’s Hypernova Megaways fell two places to seventh spot, with Shuffle Master’s 88 Fortunes, NetEnt’s Mercy of the Gods, and Everi’s Betrivers Wild coming in at eighth, ninth and 10th, respectively.
November’s biggest climber in the US was Lightning Box Games’ Lightning Gorilla slot, which climbed its way into the top-20 slots list, rising a mighty 40 spots to 19th position.
However, November’s biggest faller was Everi’s Cash Machine, which fell from an October eighth spot to 16th position during the month.
November’s US rankings were rounded out by Digital Gaming Corporation’s Gold Blitz, which fell five places from 15th to the foot of the rankings in 20th position.
As in October, there were no new entrants into the US slots rankings during November.
US slots rankings positions are based on the performance of the slots across six US states: New Jersey, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Connecticut, and Delaware.
November’s Canadian slots rankings saw Gameburger Studios 9 Masks of Fire build on its impressive October ascent to top spot by retaining its first position in the top-20 list.
A Pragmatic Play triumvirate of Sweet Bonanza, Big Bass Bonanza, and Big Bass Splash took second, third and fourth spots, respectively, with Big Bass Splash rising an impressive 12 ranking spots in the process.
Pragmatic Play slots accounted for five of the 20 Canadian slots rankings entries outside the top five in November, rounded out by the firm’s John Hunter & the Tomb of the Scarab Queen in 20th place.
Triple Edge Gaming’s Cash N’ Riches Megaways, Pragmatic Play’s Wolf Gold, and Play’n GO’s Book Of Dead took fifth, sixth and seventh spot, respectively, in the month.
Push Gaming’s Fish ‘N’ Nudge rocketed into the top-20 list in November, climbing a staggering 561 spots to 14th place, grabbing the title of the month’s biggest rising slot ahead of double-digit rankings leapers Pragmatic Play’s Sugar Rush, IGT’s Cash Eruption, and Stormcraft Studios Thunderstruck Stormchaser.
There were two new entrants to the Canadian slots rankings in November, 11th placed Slingshot Studios Loot Boost and Oros Gaming’s Big Mouth Fishing, which debuted in 15th position.
Canadian slots performance is based on provincial performance in Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
In respect of the US list, eGaming Monitor (EGM) data reviewed 54 sites in November 2023, with 2,784 games scrutinized. A total of 56 webpages were examined across six territories.
Games from a total of 153 studios were considered in the rankings in November.
EGM’s Canadian rankings reviewed 70 sites in November 2023, with 3,368 games scrutinized. A total of 77 webpages were examined across five provinces. Games from 203 studios were considered in the November rankings.
