
Slots Tracker: IGT and Pragmatic Play ascend to the top of US and Canadian rankings
IGT takes two podium positions in the US with new leader while Pragmatic Play dominates the market north of the border

EGR’s Slots Tracker rankings crowned two new leading titles in September after IGT and Pragmatic Play grabbed gold in the US and Canada, respectively.
IGT secured two of the top three spots in September’s US slots rankings, as the supplier’s Cash Eruption title replaced White Hat Gaming’s Almighty Buffalo Megaways to claim top spot.
IGT’s Fortune Coin rounded out the top three, maintaining its August ranking, with Everi’s BetRivers Wild holding onto fourth and NetEnt’s Divine Fortune charging into fifth having been ranked 11th in August.
AGS’ Capital Gains’ jump from 19th to 10th was the second biggest riser in the top 20, with NetEnt’s Jumanji claiming the biggest move in September – rising 11 spots to sit 20th.
The biggest fall in the top 20 saw Lightning Box’s Lightning Gorilla, IGT’s Cats and Big Time Gaming’s Extra Chilli slip four places into 12th, 16th, and 18th, respectively.
Two new titles were ranked in the US top 20, with Red Tiger’s 777 Super Strike debuting in 17th place and High 5 Games’ Mountain of Zeus finishing 19th.
SG Digital’s Squid Game One Lucky Day was the highest-ranking title from August (13th) to fall out of the top 20.
Shuffle Master’s Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure, Lightning Box’s Lightning Shenlong, and IGT’s Cash Machine also dropped out of the rankings.
EGR North America’s data partner eGaming Monitor (EGM) examined slots across seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
A total of 3,224 games were scrutinized across 160 studios and 61 sites.
Canada
Pragmatic Play shook up the Canadian rankings in September as its Gates of Olympus game replaced Gameburger Studios’ 12 Masks of Fire Drums in first place.
The supplier’s Buffalo King Megaways and Big Bass Bonanza finished in third and fourth place in September after being ranked ninth and fifth in August, respectively.
There were even more top 10 spaces taken by the brand, with Big Bass Splash finishing sixth after being ranked 12th in August.
Additionally, Sweet Bonanza fell from second to eighth, while Gates of Olympus 1000 moved from sixth to ninth.
Slingshot Studios’ Candy Combo Power Combo landed in 10th after placing 14th in August to close out the top half of the rankings.
The largest mover last month was IGT’s Cash Eruption, which moved from 24th to 15th, while there were four new entries in the top 20 in Canada.
The highest-placed new entry was Gameburger Studios’ Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz Extreme slot in at 11th, with Pragmatic Play’s Mustang Gold Megaways and Alchemy Gaming’s Bass Cash X Up coming in at 13th and 14th, respectively.
Pragmatic Play’s Sumo Supreme Megaways was the last new entry, securing 20th spot.
And while Pragmatic Play made a splash in the top 10 and with new entrants elsewhere in the rankings, its Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Sugar Rush games fell out of the top 20 entirely.
Stormcraft Studios’ Immortal Romance 2, Play’n GO’s Book of Dead and Wishbone Games’ Splash of Riches also all lost their ranking spot in September.
EGM looked at performances across five Canadian provinces: Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia.
A total of 3,753 titles were scrutinized across 202 studios and 63 sites.
