Gambling.com Group board member to leave after almost six years
Gregg Michaelson resigns from his position with the affiliate and will be replaced by EverQuote CEO Jayme Mendal next month

Gambling.com Group is set to appoint Jayme Mendal to the company’s board of directors following the departure of long-term boardroom stalwart Gregg Michaelson.
Mendal’s appointment comes as a result of Michaelson’s impending resignation.
As detailed in a SEC filing, Michaelson informed the board of his resignation on March 19, 2025, and will continue in the role until May 14.
Michaelson had been a member of Gambling.com Group’s board since October 2019.
Following a recommendation from the affiliate’s nominating and corporate governance committee, Mendal was chosen as Michaelson’s successor and will start his term on May 15.
Mendal’s initial term as a class two director expires at Gambling.com Group’s AGM in 2026, and he will serve on the compensation committee.
He currently works as CEO of insurance firm EverQuote, a role he has held since November 2020.
Mendal has also held the position of chief revenue officer at the firm between September 2017 and January 2019. He served as COO from February 2019 to October 2020.
Before joining EverQuote, Mendal spent five years at consultancy firm PowerAdvocate in various roles between August 2013 and August 2018.
There, he worked as senior director of sales and marketing from June 2015 to March 2017 and as vice-president of sales and marketing from March 2017 to August 2018.
Last month, Gambling.com reported revenue of $35.3m for Q4 2024, representing a 9% increase when compared to the same period in 2023.
Earlier this year, the affiliate completed its acquisition of Odds Holdings in a $160m deal, with an initial $80m outlay.
