PokerStars named Philadelphia Flyers’ official partner
Flutter Entertainment-owned poker brand signs deal that will see players awarded match tickets and signed memorabilia in poker tournaments

PokerStars has signed a deal with NHL franchise the Philadelphia Flyers to become their official partner.
As part of the agreement, match tickets and signed items will be awarded in PokerStars tournaments and monthly sweepstakes on PokerStars Casino.
The operator’s brandings will also be featured in Flyers’ home games at the Wells Fargo Center as well as in TV adverts “enhancing PokerStars presence in North America.”
The deal is the first the Flyers have signed with a poker brand.
Rob Battista, PokerStars North America senior director of commercial, said: “We are thrilled to partner with such a beloved hockey team.
“Hockey fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and we can’t wait to collaborate with the team to bring exciting tournaments and rewards to our communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.”
Todd Glickman, Comcast Spectacor chief revenue officer, added: “We’re excited to welcome PokerStars to the Flyers family.
“Their dedication to innovation and giving epic rewards and experiences to their players aligns perfectly with our goals on engaging our fantastic community of fans.”
PokerStars has already penned multi-year sponsorship deals with NHL franchises Detroit Red Wings in Michigan last year and the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2022.
The operator also signed a partnership deal with NBA franchise the Toronto Raptors two years ago.
Flutter Entertainment recently topped the EGR Power 50 for the fifth year in a row.
