DraftKings partners with Comcast for live odds integration
US operator giant links up with broadcaster, beginning with The Players Championship, to bring odds and suggested bets to users

DraftKings has partnered with Comcast to bring live odds to the broadcaster’s Xfinity X1 internet-TV product.
Xfinity X1 allows users to access live and on-demand content via the internet without the need for a standard cable connection.
Under the remit of the new deal, Boston-based DraftKings will embed live odds across major live sports games and events in what has been packaged, the Xfinity Odds Zone.
The partnership has kicked off with golf’s The Players Championship this week, with plans to include the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments, as well as the NBA and NHL playoffs.
Comcast confirmed the Xfinity Odds Zone will also be accessible for the start of the regular MLB and NFL seasons.
Xfinity users will be able to view DraftKings’ odds directly on their TVs, side-by-side with live coverage.
Suggested bets can be placed by scanning a QR code on the screen, which will add the wager to the user’s bet slip in the DraftKings app.
John Dixon, Comcast SVP of entertainment, said: “For sports fans, there is no better way to track in-play odds than right next to the live event, so we’re working with DraftKings to bring customers a transformative experience that makes it easy to follow the action and initiate bets while the event unfolds.”
Vito Forlenza, Comcast VP of entertainment apps, added: “We are going to keep leaning into major sports moments like The Players to experiment with new features and functionality that raise the bar for modern-day viewing, especially as the sports landscape continues to evolve.”
