Hard Rock Digital lands ex-Flutter VP as new director of product operations
Martin Arthur heads to tribal-owned US operator following a decade in the industry with PokerStars and Flutter

Hard Rock Digital has appointed former Flutter Entertainment exec Martin Arthur as the operator’s new director of product operations.
Arthur counts more than 15 years of experience in the industry having started out at PokerStars in October 2008 as a payments analyst.
During his eight-year stint with the firm, Arthur was a payment services manager, product manager and finally senior product manager before stepping up to The Stars Group in September 2016.
He proceeded to spend a further three years with the PokerStars parent company as an associate director for product and programme management.
In July 2019, Arthur linked up with Flutter Entertainment as the London-listed firm began its foray into the US market.
Serving as vice-president of product and programme management, he served as one of the company’s founding US division members.
Taking to LinkedIn to announce his departure from Flutter and his move to Hard Rock Digital, Arthur said: “In 2008 I landed in London fresh-faced with just a backpack, seeking a new adventure after landing my first ‘real’ job for a company I’d never heard of.
“Eight million hours later following six roles, three continental relocations and countless amazing experiences, my journey with PokerStars/Amaya/The Stars Group/Flutter has drawn to a close.
“I can’t name everyone who made this time special as there are too many, so I’ll just say thank you to all. So much in my life today that I am thankful for and appreciate traces back to this journey.
“Now, I am incredibly excited to be taking on a new challenge with Hard Rock Digital as director of product operations. Ready to rock with some familiar faces and a talented team,” he added.
Arthur’s arrival comes shortly after Hard Rock International named Vincent Zahn as its new CFO.
Elsewhere, Hard Rock is set to relaunch retail sports betting in Florida next month after the latest US Supreme Court ruling in its favour following a complex and long-running legal battle.
