Sportradar expands integrity partnership with NASCAR
Global B2B data firm to provide auto racing operator with host of services as part of multi-year deal

Sportradar and NASCAR have formally expanded their integrity partnership, with the global B2B data firm set to provide the US stock car racing operator with a host of bet monitoring and fraud prevention services as part of a multi-year deal.
Headlining the expanded pact is a first in North American sports, as NASCAR will become the debut league to receive Sportradar’s Handle Estimation and Reporting Service.
The service, which consists of four quarterly race handle reports and one annual American Sports Betting Handle report, will furnish NASCAR with actionable data points and unique insights into how its fans are engaging with the sport through betting.
The reports will also allow the league to unearth and analyze any relevant trends emerging in the US market.
“Our partnership with Sportradar is a foundational component to the success of NASCAR’s involvement with sports betting,” said NASCAR managing director of sports betting Joe Solosky.
While the betting reports are an industry first, Sportradar’s integrity services represent the heart of the partnership as its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) will cover all races in the NASCAR Cup Series™, NASCAR Xfinity Series™ and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series™. The UFDS is a comprehensive tool that logs and reports any suspicious betting activity across more than 750,000 events annually.
“When we began our journey into legal sports betting, our first priority was to protect the integrity of our product,” said Solosky. “Through this renewal, we’ll continue to ensure that our drivers, teams and industry stakeholders are educated on our policies.”
Education represents another key component of the pact as Sportradar will deliver annual in-person integrity workshops and online elearning tutorials to relevant NASCAR stakeholders. The league will also be able to leverage Sportradar’s Intelligence and Investigation Services, as well as its Integrity Audit Service.
“NASCAR’s unwavering commitment to upholding the highest levels of competitive integrity has been instrumental to its success” said Sportradar Integrity Services director, global partnerships Andy Cunningham. “We look forward to continuing to safeguard their sport through our growing portfolio of industry-leading products and solutions.”
