Bet365 head of US development departs
Former journalist Will Green leaves operator after overseeing US growth operations since September 2018
Bet365 head of US development Will Green has stepped down after more than three years with the Stoke-on-Trent-based operator.
Green joined bet365 in September 2018 and oversaw market access, partnerships and policy development in the US during his stint.
Green joined bet365 from the American Gaming Association where he served as senior research director between January 2017 and September 2018.
The former Sports Illustrated reporter has since moved into a freelance advisory role for the sports betting industry.
Posting on LinkedIn, Green said: “I almost never post on here, but wanted to do so today to thank the incredible co-workers I had at bet365.
“While my time at bet365 has come to an end – it was an incredibly difficult decision to step away, but one I felt I had to make – the lasting impact those people have had on my career can’t be overstated.
“There are too many of you to list individually (and you know who you are) so in this space I’ll just give a giant thank you. Our paths will cross again, and I look forward to when they do,” he added.
