BetMGM unifies app across multiple states for seamless UX
Users in Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, and West Virginia can use one app across states with Nevada to launch next year

BetMGM has consolidated its app across state lines as part of a wider product update.
The unified BetMGM app is now available in Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, and West Virginia, enabling players to use a single wallet and app as they travel between different jurisdictions.
“Bettors can now easily access a state switcher function to select the state they’re in and play on BetMGM seamlessly,” a BetMGM spokesperson told EGR North America.
Nevada will be added to the unified app in early 2021, meaning users will be able to access the same lines available to those in New Jersey.
As part of the update, the operator has also rolled out its Betgenius-powered “Parlay Builder” function for building, customizing and betting on selections within the same game.
TheScore developed a similar single-app function across New Jersey and Colorado after launching in the Centennial State in September.
“This is so important to us because it’s our first chance to really show off this seamless, integrated, single offering, available on a unified basis as long as you’re in a state that we offer betting in,” theScore CEO John Levy told EGR NA last month.
Parent-company GVC increased the 2020 net revenue forecast for its Roar Digital US JV by $30m to $160m after a major boost from the earlier than expected return of sports.
In its Q3 financial report, GVC said the JV had increased its nationwide market share to 17%, while BetMGM, gained an igaming market share of approximately 22% in New Jersey in August.
