Kindred joins industry trade association iDEA Growth
Operator is the 25th firm to join the group as it seeks to expand its US operations and consumer offering

Kindred has joined online gambling trade association iDEA Growth, as the firm prepares to expand its US operations.
It is the 25th members to join the group which was founded by industry lawyer Jeff Ifrah.
Kindred Group deputy general counsel, Liv Biesemans said: “Kindred Group is delighted to join iDEA and contribute more than 20 years of experience gained from global markets.
“We have continuously advocated for fact-based policymaking, and with our core focus on sustainability and responsible gambling, we believe we can make a meaningful contribution to iDEA,” Biesemans said.
Ifrah said: “With iDEA Growth members representing every vertical in mobile gaming, we have built an effective lobbying force to support federal legislation that is backed by facts and demonstrates data integrity; to educate state lawmakers on the financial benefits and to ensure the best consumer gaming experience that is safe and regulated.”
Other iDEA members include bet365, DraftKings, Golden Nugget, GVC Holdings, SBTech, PointsBet and The Stars Group.
In February, the trade group filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice over its recently revised Wire Act opinion.
It has also lobbied to educate lawmakers on the financial benefits of online gambling in a number of states.
Kindred recently moved into its new US headquarters in New York’s financial district. It is in the process of hiring a VP of Sports and preparing to expand into Pennsylvania.
