IT Lead

Description

You will be responsible for managing a small team of system administrators that provide help desk support to the company’s end users as well as the entire production environment of the company.

Your main responsibilities will be:

– Manage a small team of 2 system administrators that provide help desk support to various users

– Overall responsibility for high availability production environment

– Identify and provide solutions for security vulnerabilities

– Maintain system logs and backups; handle restores as needed; configure user access and data

– Manage deployments including code merges and code patching, via version control software. Implement deployment procedures and processes

– Ensure technical compliance with various regulations requirements

– Provide help desk support to the company’s end users

– Provide 7 X 24 support for production environment

Specific job requirements:

– 5+ years’ experience in senior IT / system administrator positions in an online / web-based product company

– Proven experience in managing high availability production environments with an experience in designing and implementing cost-effective IT solutions

– In-depth knowledge of Apache and Tomcat web servers, LINUX and Microsoft

– Strong network related skills – Firewalls, routers, switching

– A solid understanding of storage and backup concepts and technologies

– Good understanding of application and IT security

– Good experience with the ISstandard

– High availability during non-standard working hours to support unexpected production incidents

– Excellent interpersonal skills

– Hands on, hardworking, team player
